Day 1 – July 5 Drive to Road’s End in Kings Canyon – Road’s end to Lower Tent meadow 4.2miles, 2,700 ft ascent. Camping at 7,700′.
Day 2 – July 6 Lower Tent to Granite Lake (over the snow above 10,000′). 6.6 miles. Ascent of 3,500′ Camping at 10,050′.
Day 3 – July 7 Granite Lake to Granite Pass and back down to Granite Basin. Highest point 10,600′. Hiked 2.9 miles on snow. Ascent 1,750′ Camped at 10,500′
Day 2 – Aug 15 Darwin Canyon to Lake Wanda 7.7 miles on and off trail. Total ascent 1,880 ft Camping at 11,400ft.
Day 4 – July 8 Granite Basin to Grouse Lake. Over snow covered pass 11,300′. Total hike 0.9 miles (but they were hard :). Ascent 380′ Camping at 10,500′
Day 5 – July 9 Grouse Lake to Road’s End – hike out / down. 8.3 miles descent of 5,500 ft!
